Keeps my hair moisturized for days. Plus, the smell reminds me of my childhood.

Just received. Like the texture of the cream and I had curls but my twist out was dry and scalp is itching. Will use the LOC method with the next twist out and make sure my scalp has a little more oil as a barrier. Ingredients list is less congested for this cream but jar is too small for the price. But I guess it can be a decent investment if the curls last for several days after setting the hair with the cream. Also ordered the Twist Out Butter and will try it next.

I love this stuff! Was skeptical at first as I’ve been using another twisting cream from another brand, but this stuff is great. it's thick but it still feels light when your hair dries, It smells great and helps my curls dry faster. Keeps the frizz away, makes my hair soft and shapes the curls really well.

I purchased a few products from Curl Origin that I like, but my hair did not like the Twist & Twirl Defining Buttercream. I have type 4 extremely low porosity natural hair. This product smells great but it made my hair dry and hard. The culprit could be the tea tree oil or the bamboo extract (the description says that the bamboo extract adds strength to the hair). If you have low porosity hair, this product may not work for you. I am also weary about any of the products that have the horsetail ingredient in it, why? Simply because the horsetail ingredient can have a hardening effect on low porosity hair.

So far I am liking this. I tried various - some very expensive - products but they seemed to not really work well. I added a very small amount of coconut oil on top of this when i twist my hair. My twist out came out wonderful. Soft, shiny and had movement.

I came across a sample in my drawer and thought I would give I it a try and was hooked. I searched for a larger jar but could not find one so, I ordered it! Best product for my thick hair, this paired with the leave in conditioner left my hair soft, manageable and my definition even with Georgia humidity is on point. If I could have attached a photo I would have!

Leaves my 4b high porosity coils well defined and set when used in combination with the overnight mask, and moisturizer cream. Plus, the scent is soft and pleasant.

I love this cream. It’s the only product I can use to achieve a defined, moisturized and silky looking twist out. The others I’ve tried leave my hair sticky or frizzy after takedown. Please continue this product after the re-brand. Thank you

Normally , I do not do reviews, but I really really really like this product . This product is not just great for twist out / braids out , but great as a moisturizer . When I combine this product with the Hibiscus Shea curl hydrating leave in conditioner I can get moisture up to a week, which is great because I’m a lazy natural. Definitely recommend this product for dry hair .

I get really lovely defined curls with the twisting buttercream. It's the only product i've tried that i'm able to go 4 days without retwising my hair.

I got a really nice twist out with this cream. It smells really good and gave great definition. I took off one star because initially my hair felt a bit stiff but then it got really soft. I also think I used too much product as I find that this product is really concentrated and i should have used less.

I just had to come and write a review about this. I used it on blow dried hair to do a twist out and the results were fantastic. It felt a little stiff at first but after I loosened up the twist, my hair felt soft and keeps getting softer and fuller as the day goes by. The definition is unbelievable! I can't wait to see how this will work on wet hair. And oh, this smells fantastic.
